FILTERBIO is a high quality filter granulate with excellent biological cleaning performance.

FILTERBIO consists of highly porous sintered quartz, the surface of which offers natural cleaning bacteria optimal living conditions. Thus, flowing water is purified without any use of chemicals.

The result: crystal clear pond water!

• Designed for all EHEIM pond filter systems such as LOOP or PRESS
• Works perfectly together with Replay and Refine filter mats.
• Washable and can be used several times.

The volume in the filter (filter baskets or modules) can be fully utilised.

In addition, the optimised surface of the beads ensures intensive settlement of the important cleaning bacteria. A dense bacterial lawn is formed.

Further tips:

Never wash the filter material hot or with chemical cleaning agents, as this will destroy the sensitive bacteria.

Only clean the filter material when the flow rate of the filter decreases significantly, as this allows the valuable filter bacteria to settle optimally.
