activated carbon cartridges for adsorptive filtration for internal aquarium filters

aquaball 60 (type 2401), aquaball 130 (type 2402) and aquaball 180 (type 2403)

biopower 160 (type 2411), biopower 200 (type 2412) and biopower 240 (type 2413)

for the adsorptive filtration - ie for the removal of chemical pollutants (chlorine, remnants of medicines, etc.) - there are specially treated carbon cartridges. 

Adsorptive filtration is usually only necessary during the start-up phase of the aquarium or after the use of medication.  The filter cartridges should be used only for a limited period of time (about 4 weeks) and then removed or replaced.
