activated carbon fleece (3 pieces) for aquarium filters classic 250 (type 2213) or older models such as type 2013, 2113 and 2313

For adsorptive filtration - ie removal of chemical pollutants (chlorine, drug residues, etc.) - is available as an insert in the filter  special active carbon fleeces and mats. 

Adsorptive filtration is normally only required during the start-up phase of the aquarium or after the use of medication. 

The filter media should be used only for a limited period of time (about 4 weeks) and then removed or replaced.
